Tax Rates and Bands

2012 / 2013 TAX RATES AND BANDS

From 06th April 2012 the Income Tax Rates and Bands are:

Rate % Bandwidth

Basic Rate 20% £1 to £34,370

Higher Rate 40% £34,370 to £150,000

Additional Rate 50% above £150,000

The threshold (starting point) for PAYE is £156.00 per week (£675.00 per month)

The Emergency Code is 810L for 2012/13
