Scheduling Future Payments

There is an option within the payroll to set up a payment or a deduction for an employee before you actually process that particular week/ month. You can select any future week/ month in advance to set up a future payment or deduction.

 

To access this utility go to Payroll > Click the Week/ Month you want.

 

1)    Payroll

 Click on the payroll tab.

 

2)    Select Week/ Month

 Click on the week/ month you want to start the future payment.

 

3)    Employees

You will see your employee list as normal. You can now double click on the employee you want to schedule the future payment for.

 

4)    Weekly Month Pay

To schedule a change to an employee’s weekly/ monthly pay under weekly/monthly pay click the Add icon. Enter the new weekly/ Monthly gross in the box provided.

 

5)    Additions

To schedule an addition for the specified week/ month click the Add icon. Select what type of addition you want to apply to the specified week.  Eg Additional Pay, Bonus, Commission etc.

 

(a) You can edit the frequency of this scheduled payment by clicking the Edit icon. You can specify a week you want this addition to stop or have it repeating until it is manually removed by you. 

 

6)    Deductions

To schedule a deduction for the specified week /month click the Add icon. Select what type of deduction you want to apply to the specified week/month. Eg. Pension (see the pension help file for more information on pensions), AOE’s, allowable deductions etc.

(a) You can edit the frequency of this scheduled deduction by clicking the Edit icon. You can specify a week you want this addition to stop or have it repeating until it is manually removed by you. 

 

7)    Statutory Payments

To schedule statutory payments for the specified week click the Calendar button.

In the calendar select the date range you want to apply the statutory payment for. (see the help file for more information on Statutory payments)
